A Registered Dietitian is trained as a food and nutrition expert to provide medical nutrition therapy to help you improve your health while working with your Medical Practitioner to meet your individual needs. Myrtue Medical Center is lucky enough to have an in-house licensed dietitian who is available to meet with patients.

Services provided:

• Nutritional Assessments for inpatients, skilled care patients, and others as requested by Medical Practitioner
• Nutritional Therapy for patients in the hospital and outpatients on a variety of diseases and conditions

Scheduling:

There is a fee for our Medical Nutrition Therapy and it may be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and some private insurances based on diagnosis. Feel free to contact your insurance provider regarding coverage if you have specific questions about your plans coverage or
