This is a well-rounded class for anyone interested. This class involves interval training in the water with great music playing in the background. Doing exercise in the water is great for anyone with joint, knee, and hip problems. Feel the pressure to leave as soon as you enter the water. And remember all the exercises can be modified to help you get started. You will be working on strengthening plenty of Ab and cardio work.
This class is fun for all ages and fitness levels. Warm-up, cardio, and strength along with some choreography, then a cool down with stretching. This class is great for those recovering from surgery (after getting your doctor’s release). You do not need to know how to swim to attend water aerobics.
Head-to-toe workout with the combination of indoor cycling and strength training intervals using weights and bands. You will be on and off the bike throughout the class.
This is a wide range of workouts four days a week. You started with high-intensity interval training, going into cycling, then power yoga, and ending the week with another high-intensity interval training. If you can't come every day, just join in during one day that interests you the most!
The Wellness Center can provide free Fitness on Demand programs to all members. Just ask the front desk to help set up the system if you haven't used it before. You can use the system whenever the room is available. See the following scheduled workouts:
This is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events. This class is for anyone just starting with exercise or just trying to keep in shape. Unlock the door to greater independence and a healthier life with Generation Fit. The class benefits include:
Pickleball is best described as a combination of badminton, ping-pong, and tennis. Players use a paddle that is reminiscent of ping-pong paddles but is bigger and usually made of more advanced materials. The ball used is very similar to a plastic whiffle ball with holes covering the surface. Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles, just like tennis. Pickleball is truly a game for all ages, shapes, and skill levels. The rules are simple enough for kids to easily pick up and many people develop a passion for the sport after just a couple of games. Because of the smaller court size and light ball, the game is incredibly popular among seniors looking for a low-impact form of exercise.
Join instructor Bre for SHiNE™ Dance, a high cardio dance fitness class rooted in jazz, ballet, and hip hop. She uses current music and the routines are choreographed to make you feel strong, happy, confident, and inspired. This class is guaranteed to energize your soul. All ages and abilities are welcome!
Sit & Be Fit is a 30-minute class instructed from a chair designed for beginners, seniors, or individuals with limited physical conditions. This class includes exercises focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and functional fitness using hand-held weights, resistance bands, and balls.
A fun mix of strength and cardio that's always changing. All ages and fitness levels are welcome, we can modify it to make the class work for you.
Yoga fit marries traditional Hatha Yoga with a vinyasa flow mindset. Although this class does not use Sanskrit terminology, the poses are the same. Each class starts with one or two Sun Salutations followed by poses based on the knowledge/abilities of the participants that will not only challenge but improve one’s balance, strength and flexibility.
