Dr. Venkata (Mahesh) Alla is currently a practicing non-invasive academic Cardiologist in Omaha, an Associate professor of Medicine in Creighton University School of Medicine, and the Program Director for the cardiovascular fellowship program. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac Computed Tomography, and Comprehensive Adult Echocardiography. His clinical and research interests include Preventive / Clinical Cardiology, Echocardiography. He is a dedicated teacher and is passionate about fellowship educ and Cardiac Imaging.

He graduated with a medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India in 2000, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Postgraduate Institute for Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India and worked as a Chief Resident at the Nizam’s Institute for Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, India before he moved to the United States in 2006. He completed Internal Medicine Residency in 2009 and Cardiovascular Fellowship in 2012 at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska and has been on the Faculty since 2012.
