About Sara

Sara Stephenson, PA-C comes to Myrtue's Outpatient Clinic from Advanced Dermatology of the Midlands in Omaha. We have three specialists who come on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday and the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. 

Sara grew up in Omaha and has always had a passion for science and problem-solving. During high school, she was involved in research on diabetes and pancreatic transplantation. She graduated magna cum laude from St. Louis University with a bachelor's in Biology. She remained in St. Louis to complete her master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies. While in school, her passion for dermatology became readily apparent spending extra time in general dermatology and Moh’s surgery.

Upon graduation, she was hired into dermatology and spent the next five years practicing in the St. Louis area. Sara has been extensively trained in all areas of dermatology and has a particular interest in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She loves that dermatology provides her the opportunity to treat people of all ages while getting to know their families.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys yoga, cooking, and traveling with her husband, Shane, and their two children; Shawn and Madeline.
