About Sam

Sam Arentson, DPT, has been a valued member of the Myrtue's Rehabilitation Services team since 2017. Sam works with patients of all ages, dealing with a range of issues from post-surgical complications, back pain, joint pain, concussions, wounds, to muscle spasms. His expertise is not limited to these areas, as he also has certifications for dry needling, lymphedema, and Augmented Soft Tissue Manipulation (ASTYM).

Sam is available for appointments from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM every Thursday. He is also a common sight on the sidelines of sporting events in Harlan.

Sam's interest in physical therapy sparked when he was a senior in high school, after experiencing an injury himself. His favorite aspect of the job is the opportunity to form relationships with his patients.

When Sam is not working, he spends time with his wife, Katie, who is a teacher at Harlan Middle School, and their three children. He enjoys coaching his children's activities, rooting for the Iowa State Cyclones and the Green Bay Packers, and his favorite color is green!
