Robert E. Bowen, MD

About Robert

Dr. Robert Bowen received his MD degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He completed a pathology residency at UNMC as well as a Cytopathology fellowship. Dr. Bowen is a member of the American Board of Pathology and has been an inspector of laboratories through the College of American Pathologists for over 18 years.

Dr. Bowen came on our consulting staff here at Myrtue in 1991 and has worked closely with our Medical Staff since that time. He has been an invaluable reference for our laboratory staff as well as being involved with surgical pathology when he is in Harlan. When Dr. Bowen isn’t working, he could serenade you with a beautiful arrangement on the piano. He also enjoys sailing and writing computer programs.
