About Kassadie

Kassadie is a Temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (T-LMHC) and has been at Behavioral Health since 2024. Kassadie works with a variety of clients under the supervision of Clinical Coordinator Kate Smith, LMHC.

Kassadie graduated from Drake University with a Bachelors in Science in 2022. Following graduation, Kassadie worked with children in residential treatment while continuing her education in the Master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Drake University and graduated in 2024.

Kassadie is trained in the following evidenced-based modalities

• Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
• Child Centered Play Therapy and Sandtray
• Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)

Kassadie works with individuals of all ages (5 years old and up), as well as with families.
