About Eric

Eric Chipman, PT, DPT, has been a valued team member with Myrtue’s Rehabilitation Services since January 2008. He sees patients of all ages and deals with a wide range of issues that include joint pain, post-surgical complications, sports injuries, falls, strokes, concussions, and wound care. He is certified in Dry Needling, Sport Venue Emergency Medical Response, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (ASTYM), Functional Movement Screens, and Overhead Athlete Rehabilitation.

Eric is available for appointments from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. He is also a common sight on the sidelines of sporting events in Harlan.

Eric finds his job incredibly fulfilling due to the diverse interactions and relationships he builds with his patients in a rural community. He is also grateful to have a supportive team of like-minded coworkers, all striving to provide the best service possible to their clients. Eric's personal experience with physical therapy following various high school injuries helped him realize his calling in this field. He takes joy in getting to know his patients and their stories, while also observing the collaborative teamwork within his department to help patients achieve their physical and mental goals.

When Eric is not working, he enjoys spending quality time with his children and supporting their extracurricular activities. Eric and his wife, Hope, love to attend live music events or theatre performances whenever they have the chance. In addition, Eric enjoys the outdoors, with a passion for fishing and hunting. He also enjoys yardwork, listening to music, and has a keen interest in aviation-related topics.
