Scans Throughout Care

Throughout your maternity care, you will undergo several ultrasounds to ensure that your baby is developing properly. The scans you will have include: an initial ultrasound, anatomy scan at 20 weeks, an additional growth scan at 28 weeks, and another growth scan at 36 weeks.
Ultrasound Photos

Our skilled ultrasound technicians, McKayla and Anne, will guide you through each step of the scan during your appointment. They will explain the entire process and answer any questions you may have. With a bit of luck, you will be able to take some lovely photos home with you!
Unique + Secure Space

The Birthing Center is situated on its own floor of the hospital, providing a secluded and secure environment for expectant mothers to welcome their new bundle of joy. Safety measures are in place to ensure the privacy and security of both mother and baby during childbirth and their stay with us.
Birthing Suites

Our Birthing Suites are thoughtfully designed to provide ample room and comfort for mom and support person during the labor and delivery process. All of our rooms are equipped with essential emergency equipment tucked behind aesthetically pleasing surfaces to have the comforts of home with the ability to quickly medically intervene if necessary.
Our Nursing Team

Our nursing team is highly experienced in assisting mothers through labor, monitoring fetal heart rate and uterine contractions, and working with physicians to ensure safe delivery of both mother and baby. They provide emotional support and strive to maintain high-quality care throughout your entire stay!
Individualized Care

At the birthing center, we prioritize our care and attention to our patients. Throughout your labor, we provide 1:1 patient to nurse ratio. During your delivery and for the first few hours after, you will have a nurse and your newborn will have their own nurse to ensure you are each given undivided attention. Throughout your stay in the birthing center we especially pride ourselves in the amount of support and teaching we provide to you and your family.
Whirlpool Therapy

We provide a comprehensive range of pain management solutions for mothers during childbirth. Our private Whirlpool Room offers a unique and calming environment to aid relaxation and progress during labor. In addition, with the approval of our maternity physician, mothers can also use the Whirlpool after labor to aid in pain relief and healing.
Whirlpool Therapy

Our private whirlpool room offers many benefits to mom and baby. Hydrotherapy helps the laboring woman to relax and progress through the stages of labor while allowing tissue to stretch which decreases tearing all while improving oxygenation and circulation.

During your stay in the Birthing Center, your postpartum care is what sets us apart from other OB departments. Our caring and knowledgeable team ensures you are cared for with the greatest compassion while preparing and guiding you into parenthood.
