Details:
Stigma is the number one barrier for people to get the mental health treatment they need and deserve. We can all help fight stigma by building our awareness and understanding of mental healthcare right here in our community!
Join us for an open house style event at Myrtue's Behavioral Health Clinic on Tuesday, May 13, from 11 AM to 1 PM to pull back the curtain on mental healthcare! This event will help you deepen your understanding of core mental health services, including medication management, therapy, and community based programs.
Elements of the event include:
- Role play demonstrations of common mental health appointments, such as a therapy intake assessment, a medication evaluation, specific therapy interventions like play therapy or EMDR, and community-based groups
- Exhibits throughout the building that you can explore at your own pace highlighting various aspects of mental healthcare
- The Myrtue Behavioral Health Team on hand to meet you and answer your questions
Save the date and plan to join us May 13!
