SWITA Fun Bus Summer 2023

The SWITA Fun Bus is back for another summer of FUN! In partnership with the Shelby County Health Foundation and SWITA, the Shelby County Wellness Alliance is pleased to announce youth transportation assistance. This funding is intended to help busy families access youth recreation and activities in the county for their children.
To sign your child up for this service, you can,
- Print and fill out the following form: SWITA Fun Bus Summer 2023 Child Form
- Please mail this form to Anna Schwarte, 1213 Garfield Ave, Attn: Public Health, Harlan, IA 51537. You may also fax this form to 712.755.4538 to the attention of Anna Schwarte.
Families in Harlan may receive a $40/month Summer Fun Pass by completing a simple application below for each child. SWITA will provide rides within city limits of town to summer camps and activities such as: piano lessons, Vacation Bible School, swimming pool, Wellness Center, swim team, friend’s house, or just about anywhere within the city limits of town. This pass will allow your child to have transportation to activities throughout Harlan. Parents of children under 5 years old can also request a pass so they can provide supervision as needed on the bus and the event. Funding is available on a first-come, first serve basis. Those children with a fun bus pass will receive transportation throughout the summer.
