Myrtue Medical Center Public Health Department Influenza and COVID Clinic

A combination COVID-19 and influenza vaccine clinic is offered to the public on Saturday, October 15th from 8 AM-12 PM at the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium parking lot. The clinic will be a “drive-through” clinic with no need to exit your vehicle to receive the vaccine. No appointments are necessary! The flu vaccine is available for ages 6 months and older. COVID-19 boost vaccine is available to those 12 years and older that have completed a primary COVID-19 series—your choice of Moderna or Pfizer Bivalent vaccine.

Volunteers will be present to direct traffic so you will be able to get in and out in a timely and safe manner. Please enter Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium off Chatburn Avenue between Dollar General and Molded Products. After receiving your flu, COVID-19 (Or both) vaccines, you will be directed to exit onto 12th Street, following the observation period as necessary.

During the clinic, Public Health, Myrtue Medical Center, and Emergency Management Agency will be evaluating and testing emergency response. A simulated medical emergency will be a part of this exercise. The vaccination clinic will continue through the simulation with no interruption in service.
