Information Services Department
Full-time position (40 hours per week). Works Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm OR 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. On-call required. Provides computer and computer network technical support to Myrtue Medical Center staff in various departments. Develops project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to create or modify computer programs, and is to a greater or lessor degree involved in the day-to-day management and operations of the Medical Center’s computer and information management systems. Assists users to resolve computer related problems such as inoperative PC based or network hardware or software. Performs Help Desk operations for users and systems i.e., receives user calls and assesses the level of problem and formulates a correct and timely response, which will bring the user or system back into operation status. Strong information systems management skills; strong interpersonal communications skills, PC hardware assembly and maintenance, PC software installation, training, and maintenance, computer/network equipment evaluation and acquisition skills, network installation and maintenance skills, system analysis and programming skills desirable. SCCM preferred. College degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.
