Sit & Be Fit

Sit & Be Fit is a 30 minute class instructed from a chair designed for beginners, seniors, or individuals with limited physical conditions.  Using hand-held weights, resistance bands and balls, this class includes exercises that focus on strength, flexibility, balance and functional fitnessJoin Jackie Alberti to enhance your overall well-being and quality of life.


Turbo Kick

Is the work out that doesn’t feel like work.  Pack each workout with calorie-blasting cardio, kickboxing, body-sculpting, and dance moves set to the hottest music ever.  You’re scorching fat and sizzling calories…its fast, its fun, it works.  Join Marie Boggess on Tue/Thu evenings.

Bootcamp – Saturday Mornings at 7:30 AM

Whether you’ve hit a wall after years of training or have trained for years, you will test your courage and stamina.  Allison will take you on a fun course of activity.  Maybe going outside and practicing your agility or interval training.  Please join Allison on Saturday mornings.


Generation Fit

This is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events.  Taught by Jackie Alberti a certified instructor.  This class is for anyone just starting out with exercise or just trying to keep in shape.  Unlock the door to greater independence and a healthier life with Generation Fit.  The class benefits include:

  • Access to conditioning classes, exercise equipment, using a chair, exercise band and ball
  • Customized classes designed for older adults who want to improve their strength, flexibility, balance and endurance
  • Choreographed to music for eye-hand coordination for your enjoyment held in the Gym

SilverSneakers© – MSROM – 10:15AM

Muscular, strength, Range of motion.  Have fun and move to music through a variety of exercise designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance.  A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.  Taught by certified SS instructor, Jackie Alberti, who also has her degree in Exercise Science.  This class is held in the class room


Step On Up 1

Team building through group exercise and team sports.  Varied workouts to ensure a high enjoyment factor and a workout for the brain.  Step aerobics are incorporated to ensure cardiovascular health as well as to work on balance, stability and coordination.  All in all a great workout and a fun time.  All fitness levels are encouraged to attend.  Taught by Mario a personal trainer.


Step On Up 2

Step On Up 2 is an intermediate level class that is open to people of all fitness levels.  This class will offer ever-changing workouts to improve total body fitness, muscular endurance, and muscular strength.  Strength training, circuit training, and interval training are some of the types of training we will do in this class.  Step On Up 2 is a great class to pair with Step On Up 1.  Give it a try.  Taught by Lawrence who is a personal trainer as well.


SilverSplash

A well rounded class that involves using water weights, Noodles and or kickboards.  Sometimes doing interval training and always well rounded.  Feel free to try this class if you have arthritis and or joint problems.  Anyone can take this class- make it hard as you like or if you are just starting out.  Join Lacie Argotsinger who is certified in SliverSplash© only on Friday’s at 6:05am/8:05am.


Aqua Fit

Taught by Allison Taylor who has taught this class for 5 years.  This is another well rounded class for anyone!  It is lots of Interval training in the water and fun to work out to great music.  Doing exercise in the water is great for anyone with joint, knee and hip problems.  Feel the pressure leave as soon as you enter the water.  And remember all the exercises can be modified to help you get started.  You will be working on strengthening, plenty of Ab and cardio work.
