Steve Finn, PT, DPT, OCS

Is a licensed therapist and certified specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Steve has been employed at Myrtue since 1993 as the rehab director, and has been a practicing therapist since 1992. He is trained in McKenzie techniques for spine rehabilitation and is the lead therapist for the chronic pain program.

Linda Reinig, PT,

Linda Reinig, PT

Is a licensed physical therapist who began employment at Myrtue in 1973. She specializes in women’s health issues including osteoporosis and incontinence rehabilitation. Linda is certified in manual lymph drainage for the treatment of lymphedema and as an exercise expert for the aging adult.

Darla Miller, PTA

Is a licensed physical therapist assistant who has been with Myrtue since 1988. She specializes in wound care and is certified in advanced debridement. Darla is also a certified personal trainer and instructor for the Balance/Strength class at the Petersen Family Wellness Center.

Suzanne Goshorn, PTA

Is a licensed physical therapist assistant who joined Myrtue in 2001. She has been practicing since 1999. Suzanne specializes in rehabilitation of patients with acute congestive heart failure and is certified in manual lymph drainage for lymphedema.

Stephanie Harder, PT

Stephanie Harder, DPT

Is a licensed physical therapist who joined MMC in 2006. She has been instrumental in the post-offer/pre-placement work screenings and ergonomic programs offered through the rehab department in conjunction with Occupational Health Outreach. Stephanie is also one of the lead physical therapists for the department’s new pediatric program.

Shelli Brand, PT

Shelli Brand, DPT

Is a licensed physical therapist who has been employed at Myrtue since 2006. She is the lead physical therapist for home health patients as well as being the other lead therapist for the new pediatric program. Shelli is certified in manual lymph drainage techniques for the treatment of lymphedema.

Stacy Torneten, PT ATC

Joined MMC in 2007 as a licensed physical therapist and certified athletic trainer. She has been working as a physical therapist since 1999, and has been a certified athletic trainer since 1995. Stacy practices primarily in our outpatient department with specific focus on orthopedic conditions and sports medicine. She is also one of the lead therapists for our new aquatic therapy program.

Eric Chipman, DPT

Is a licensed physical therapist who has been with Myrtue since 2008. He has been practicing as a physical therapist since May 2006 after graduating from Creighton University. Eric’s areas of interest include orthopedics and sports medicine. Eric is another of our lead therapists for the aquatic program.

Lynn N. Schmitz, DPT

Is a licensed physical therapist who rejoined Myrtue in 2011. He was first employed in the rehab department at Myrtue in 1991 and became a practicing physical therapist in 1996. His clinical focus includes orthopedics and wound care. Lynn is also a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.

Makayla Tremel, PTA

Is a licensed physical therapist assistant who joined Myrtue in 2009. She works with inpatient, outpatient and home health patients. Makayla has been instrumental in developing the aquatic therapy program.

Janelle Sears, MS, OTR/L

Has been employed as a licensed occupational therapist at Myrtue since 1997. In addition to providing occupational therapy for the inpatient, outpatient and home health clients at Myrtue, she has specialized in the areas of vestibular rehabilitation, workstation/ergonomic evaluation, vision deficiency and is also certified in manual lymph drainage techniques for the treatment of lymphedema. Janelle will also be working with pediatric patients as part of our new pediatric therapy program.

Sharla Rau, MS, OTR/L

Sharla Rau, OTR/L

Began employment at MMC as a licensed occupational therapist in 2007. She has been practicing since 2001. Sharla specialized in the rehabilitation of patients with acute cardiac conditions while at Creighton University Medical Center. She has additional training in vestibular rehabilitation, pediatric therapy and vision deficiencies.

Edie Shetler, MS, CCC-SLP

Is a licensed speech-language pathologist who joined the MMC team in 2011. She has been a practicing SLP since 1997. Edie provides services for inpatients, outpatients, and home health patients. She has additional experience in pediatric speech therapy services and is the lead speech therapist for the pediatric therapy program. Edie also completes video fluoroscopic swallowing evaluations in conjunction with the Radiology Department.

Katie Collins, MS, CCC-SLP

Is a licensed speech-language pathologist employed with MMC since 2009. She provides services for inpatients, outpatients and home health clients. Katie’s areas of practice include diagnostic, consultative, and direct speech therapy services for adults and children with communication and/or swallowing impairments. She also completes video fluoroscopic swallowing evaluations in conjunction with the Radiology Department.

Linda Bolton

Linda Bolton (employed at Myrtue since 1991)

Is a rehab technician that assists our staff with patient care and performs other duties involving registering and scheduling patients as well as the daily paperwork that comes with a department of this size.
