Myrtue Medical Center has embarked on one of its largest construction projects ever with the redesign of its medical campus to enhance patient care, accessibility and convenience. The project also includes $1.5 million in advanced medical equipment and technology upgrades. Hawkins Construction, Omaha, NE, was awarded the bid and the project has an April 2013 completion date.
The plan includes relocating surgery, outpatient and lab as well as expanding radiology and updating the birthing center. The Medical Center will have a new front door to the community, as entrances to outpatient and surgery will be moved to the south side of the campus offering Hwy 44 access and ample patient parking.
