Dr. Brian Anderson
Joining our team in 2010, Dr. Brian Anderson came to us from Soda Springs, Idaho where he had a private practice. He received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, Missouri and completed his Family Medicine Residency in Spokane, Washington. Dr. Anderson and his wife, Jennifer, have 4 children. He enjoys attending his children’s activities and church, skiing, mountain biking and running.
Dr. Timothy Brelje
Graduated with his medical degree from the University of Iowa and is a member of the American Board of Family Practice. He began his practice in Harlan in 1993. He and his wife, Becky, have 3 children. Dr. Brelje enjoys watching his children’s sporting activities, golf, and fishing.
Dr. Donald Klitgaard
Graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He began his medical career in Harlan in 1999. Dr. Klitgaard and his wife, Laurel, have 2 children. Dr. Klitgaard enjoys photography, traveling, and family time. He is a past president of the Iowa Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Scott Markham
Graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and is a member of the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Scott Markham has been with Myrtue Medical Center since 1995. Dr. Markham and his wife, Joan, have 2 children. Dr. Markham enjoys golf, skiing, water sports, and riding his motorcycle.
Dr. Roger Davidson
Received his medical degree from the University of Iowa and is a member of the American Board of Family Practice. He has been with Myrtue Medical Center since 1982. Dr. Davidson and his wife, Sharon, have 4 grown sons and 5 grandchildren They enjoy riding bikes, training for RAGBRAI, gourmet cooking, and music.
Dr. Bret Heileson
Graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, NE. He belongs to the American Board of Family Medicine. He established his practice in Harlan in 2000. Dr. Heileson and his wife, Tammie, have four children. Dr. Heileson enjoys playing practical jokes, living on an acreage in rural Shelby County, hunting with his dogs, and bow hunting.
