Food Service Worker

Dietary Department

On-call position.  Works 10-12 hours per week; 1-2 shifts weekly 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm and every other weekend with hours varying between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm; occasional holidays as scheduled.  Performs a variety of food service tasks to ensure deliverance of meals/food for patients, cafeteria, and special meetings throughout the health system.  Operates the dish machine.  Sets up cafeteria for breaks and meals; serves customers; runs cash register; washes dishes, pots, and pans; stocks supplies; cleans; delivers patient trays to floor; general duties as assigned.  One year of food service experience is desirable, but not required.  Must have a general knowledge of cooking and using kitchen machines and equipment.  Completion of high school or equivalent required.
