Behavioral Health Department
Full-time position (40 hours per week). Works Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Will be assigned to the Harlan Community School District and their buildings. This position is responsible for providing a comprehensive array of clinical services for students 6th grade through 12th grade. Serves as an active participant in all clinical programs of the department and is responsible for providing a comprehensive array of clinical services delivered at the school including but not limited to; behavioral health evaluation, assessment, individual and family therapy, behavioral health crisis assessment, consultation, and education. Conducts therapy sessions with client(s) and groups. Refers and collaborates with other agencies and practitioners having a joint interest in meeting needs of the client, especially relevant school personnel. Experience equivalent to two years and field experience in a similar setting during educational process required. Must be eligible to be licensed in the State of Iowa to practice as an Independently Licensed Mental Health Provider. Master’s degree in Human Service field such as Counseling, Social Work or other mental health related field required.
