Office Assistant

Department of Community Health

On-call position (up to 8 hours per week).  Days vary.  Provides office support by performing clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, and receptionist duties.  Maintains accurate records and files within the Home Health, Public Health, and Hospice departments.  Sends out evaluation forms to clients.  Works with nursing staff to prepare for various clinics.  Types documents such as letters, memos, services records, treatment plans, policies, meeting agendas, publicity articles, and billing statements utilizing a computer.  Secretarial experience of at least one year is preferred with preference given to experience in the business office and medical related fields.  Computer experience of at least one year is also preferred.  Minimum of a high school education or equivalent required.
