Helpful Information:
Adults should wear short sleeves. Young children should wear shorts under long pants, as their shots are given in their thigh.

Cost:
Regular Flu Shot~ $30
Flu Mist ~ $40
Intradermal ~ $35
High Dose Flu Vaccine ~ $45 & billable to Medicare
Payment:
Medicare Part B & Medicaid will pay for flu vaccination for covered persons. You must show your Medicare or Medicaid card at registration. No HMO’s will be billed.
If you have private insurance you will be given a receipt to use when you file your insurance, if you have BCBS we will bill them for you.
Children with Medicaid, no health insurance, insurance that does not cover any of the cost of vaccines, or who are Native American or Alaskan Native may receive flu vaccine from the Vaccines for Children (VFC) supply provided by the Iowa Department of Public Health at no charge. Donations are accepted to help defray expenses.
